Summary: The play follows Alice’s surreal adventure underground, where she grows and shrinks, meets eccentric creatures, and navigates a bizarre, grotesque fairy tale world that grows ever more chaotic.

Concept: Alice’s struggle for identity in Wonderland is the central focus of the design. Her insecurity and disorientation, which are expressed through a stage transformed into a psychedelic realm. As the play targets audiences aged 10 and above, vibrant colours and playful textures create a joyful, fantastical atmosphere alongside the sense of confusion. Wonderland is conceived as a surrealistic garden, with spirals and wavy curves shaping the main settings, from the garden itself to the sea of tears. Exotic plants, fungi. Lenticular printing, and mirrored materials heighten the illusion. The mirrors play a dual role: reflecting Alice’s shifting sense of self while multiplying and distorting the stage environment, drawing the audience deeper into her dreamlike journey.
